چکیده

Context. The Solar Orbiter mission, with an orbit outside the Sun-Earth line and leaving ecliptic plane, opens up opportunities for combined analysis of measurements obtained by solar imagers spectrometers. For first time different space spectrometers will be located at wide angles to each other, allowing three-dimensional (3D) spectroscopy atmosphere. Aims. aim this work is prepare a methodology facilitate reconstruction 3D vector velocities from two stereoscopic sight (LOS) Doppler velocity using Spectral Imaging Coronal Environment (SPICE) on board near-Earth spectrometers, while widely separated in space. Methods. We developed libraries designed earlier STEREO but applied spectroscopic data Hinode mission Dynamics Observatory. used well-known methods static dynamic rotation stereoscopy extreme ultraviolet (EUV) triangulation optically thin coronal EUV plasma emissions. new algorithms analytical geometry determine loops. Results. demonstrate our approach vectors flows along ‘open’ ‘closed’ magnetic This technique actual situation spacecraft separations during nominal phase: SPICE versus Interface Region Spectrograph (IRIS) imaging spectrometer. summarise how these observations can coordinated.

Solar Coronal Plasma in Doppler Measurements

Doppler tracking of an interplanetary spacecraft near solar conjunction is strongly affected by the plasma in the solar corona, the main competitive contribution in measurements of the gravitational deflection of light rays. With the simultaneous availability of carriers in X band and Ka band for interplanetary communications, the plasma contribution to the corona can be accurately eliminated a...

Repeatability of transcranial Doppler measurements of arterial blood flow velocities in healthy subjects.

1. Transcranial Doppler measurements of the mean blood flow velocity and the resistance index in the middle cerebral artery are used to assess cerebral haemodynamics. The prerequisite for the use of these parameters in clinical pharmacology studies is an evaluation of their repeatability and spontaneous variation with time. 2. Repeatability of transcranial Doppler measurements of mean blood flo...

Are measurements of systolic myocardial velocities and displacement with colour and spectral Tissue Doppler compatible?

BACKGROUND Tissue Doppler (TD) in pulsed mode (spectral TD) and colour TD are the two modalities today available in tissue velocity echocardiography (TVE). Previous studies have shown poor agreement between these two methods when measuring myocardial velocities and displacement. In this study, the concordance between the myocardial velocity and displacement measurements using colour TD and diff...

Coronal Magnetic Field Measurements

A long-standing solar problem has been to measure the coronal magnetic field. We believe it determines the coronal structure and dynamics from the upper chromosphere out into the heliospheric environment. It is only recently that Zeeman splitting observations of infrared coronal emission lines have been successfully used to deduce the coronal magnetic flux density. Here we extend this technique...

Cardiac Doppler flow velocities in human fetuses.

Cardiac Doppler flow velocity studies were performed in normal human fetuses between 18 and 40 weeks of gestation. Two-dimensional linear array and sector scanning techniques were used for the initial evaluation of the fetuses, which included a standard ultrasound examination to determine normal anatomy and estimated gestational age and weight. Fetal cardiac ultrasound examination was then perf...
